I took this picture along the C&O Canal, I think the people were part of a water tour. I thought it was cool that the guys are dressed, and how one is pushing a wheel barrow.

For class we had to do a photo essay taken place in Georgetown. I decided to photograph another side of the town most dont think about, the people who call the streets of Georgetown home.

Father's Day

Here's some shots I took on Father's Day. We were at the ballpark for the day, and it was interesting to see the different age ranges of the fathers and children.

The Unseen

For this project, we had the challenge of photographing the unseen. I saw these flowers in the backyard of a friends house. I think when most people see flowers they think of beautiful full flowers. The reason I picked this is because they are shriveled, dying and have many imperfections to them, however the colors are still interesting.

Ordinary to Extraordinary

The objective of this assignment was to take an ordinary picture, and make it extraordinary. I used photoshop to crop the image, rotate it slightly, and play with the contrast. The orginal photo is below.

Merging

During class we needed to combine two images, one having to be a gatorade bottle. The idea behind this was to have greg trying to get out of the gatorade bottle, although certain aspects could have been better.

One Shot

For this assignment we had to take a photograph, one shot only, of a hand. We had to consider lighting, shutter speed, aperture, ISO and compositon. No second chance to capture a moment. Our subject matter happened to be of a hand. The only thing I did to the photograph was to desaturate it in photoshop to create a black and white image.

Campus at Sunset

During our class we were asked to take pictures around campus of three different subjects, texture, architecture detail, and people.
